How To Save Windows Spotlight Images in Windows 10 Using Powershell and Command Prompt. This video is best suited for
Windows 10 Version 1703 Build 15063+ (and Higher) but will work on lower Windows 10 Builds as well.

(This video was made on Windows 10 Version 1903 Build 18362.53 RTM May 2019 Update)

Instructions to follow:

Step 1: Run dialog prompt [Win + R] Step 2: Enter the following command
%localappdata%PackagesMicrosoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewyLocalStateAssets
Step 3: Copy all the files to another location (example C:UsersMySchoolProjectPicturesSpotlight)
Step 4: All files needs to be renamed to the JPG extension
This could be done with either one by one or r in a batch command.

Step 5:Hit Shift + Right-click with your mouse in the directory where you copied all the files.
Choose “Open PowerShell window here”

Step 6: In the PowerShell window enter the command “CMD”

Step 7: Enter the command: Ren *.* *.jpg

Addional Step 8: Open and run Command Prompt (CMD) as administrator

Change the Directory to the location where you copied all the files

Example: cd C:UsersMySchoolProjectDocumentsSpotlight

after that use the command: Ren *.* *.jpg
